Train with the best! Kim Russell is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, as well as accomplished professional woman's downriver racer, regularly placing top ten in the pro men category. Kim was most recently nominated as 2015 Canoe & Kayak Female Paddler of the Year, after winning the 2015 Little White Salmon Race. She has won the Western Whitewater Championship series from 2010-2013, the Northwest Creeking Competition from 2009-2013, 2015 (including East Fork Lewis and Canyon Creek Races, not including), as well as the Wind River Festival from 2010-2013. She was a participant in the famous Little White Salmon Race in 2013, placing 4th with her co-ed team. Other notable professional accomplishments include first place at Caliburnfest's Downriver Race in 2010, first place in the Clackamas River Festival Downriver Race in 2013, first place in the 2008 Western Women's Whitewater Festival Eightball event, 3rd place in the 2007 Collegiate Nationals (Freestyle and Boatercross).
Kim is also a professional Mountain Biker -- she began racing bikes professionally in 2014, and hasn't looked back since. Notable accomplishments include the 2014, 2015 Oregon Enduro Series: 1st place, 2015 Cascadia National Championships: 2nd place, 2016 Cascadia Dirt Cup Series: 1st place, 2016 North American Enduro Cup, Idaho: 1st Place, 2016 Transcascadia: 5th place, and First American at the Chile and Argentina stops of the Enduro World Series in 2016. She is a certified as a Level 1 PMBIA mountain bike instructor, and guest coaches with Ladies AllRide/Grit Clinics based in Bend, Oregon. In 2017, she will travel to New Zealand, Tasmania, Portugal, and BC amidst state-side races, participating in events within the Enduro World Series, Big Mountain Enduro, Trans BC, Transcascadia, and Cascadia Dirt Cup.
